Baked Vegetable Gold Finger At Home

Yes you can make vegetables fingers at home. There is a stunning diversity of experimentation you can do in your kitchen with this humble.. Check the recipe of baked vegetables gold fingers here

Ingredients:
  • 4 slices of bread.
  • Cheese Spreadz any flavour as required.
  • 1 cup finely minced vegetables
  • 1 or 2 green chillies
  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves
  • 2 tbsps milk ( optional )
  • 1/2 - 3/4 cup sesame seeds
  • salt to taste

Method:

I used cabbage as its easy to mince & 1 " carrot to give it some colour. Mince the coriander leaves & green chillies as well.
  • Keep the bread slices in the refrigerator for 10 minutes so that it hardens & the bread is easier to handle.
  • Cut each slice of bread into 4 strips.
  • Spread the cheese spread lightly on the bread strips. Keep aside.
  • In the meanwhile cover & cook the vegetables along with salt in the micro wave for 5 minutes without adding any water.
  • Spread the cooked vegetables on a plate.
  • Dip the cheese side to the plate so that the vegetables stick / thinly coats to the cheese. U can also lightly press the vegetables so that they stick well to the bread. This is a messy work. Remember the bread is delicate, so handle with care. Repeat with the other strips. Keep aside.
  • Spread the sesame seeds on a plate. Now dip the bread once again to this plate so that the sesame sticks / thinly coats to the veggies. Or you may stick it with your hands & lightly press. If the sesame is not sticking to the vegetables, lightly brush the top of the vegetables with milk. I did not use any milk.
  • Keep it ready in advance in the refrigerator.
  • When ready to serve, bake in a preheated medium oven for 5 to 7 min.
  • Serve with tomato sauce.
  • This is a good appetizer also.
